A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section eight, relating to
authorizing the commission for the deaf and hard of
hearing to promulgate a legislative rule relating to
fees for qualified interpreters.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section eight, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-8. Commission for the deaf and hard of hearing.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on
the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-six, under the authority of section nine, article
fourteen-a, chapter five, of this code, modified by the
commission for the deaf and hard of hearing to meet the
objections of the legislative rule-making review committee
and refiled in the state register on the twenty-sixth\ day
of February, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven,
relating to the commission for the deaf and hard of hearing
(fees for qualified interpreters, 192 CSR 1), is
authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to promulgate
a legislative rule relating to Fees for Qualified
Interpreters.
